Impact!: An Asteroid's Journey to Earth
An Interactive Program for Educators and Museums
IMPACT! An Asteroid's Journey to Earth is an interactive DVD developed for use in middle and high school classrooms that presents current scientific thinking about asteroids, impacts, and impact craters. The content and format were tested with 8th grade students and teachers to create experiences that directly address students' questions, dispel misconceptions, and engage students in scientific investigation and analysis. The program is currently on display in the meteorites exhibit at the Harvard Museum of Natural History.
